Wallet loyalty, without the app

Sign a customer up in seconds. They never touch their phone.

Loonine is a digital loyalty card platform for cafés, salons, bakeries and restaurants. You type a phone number. They get a text. The card lands in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. No app for them to download, no account to create, no QR code to explain.

Works on every modern phone · No customer app · GDPR compliant

On screen: An espresso pours in close-up. A barista types a customer's number and taps Add & Stamp, and the card lands on the customer's phone with a notification. A cup fills and the card reads 10/10: free coffee unlocked. Your coffee took longer. Loonine. Loyalty in seconds.

After the receipt

One sale. Then gone. Don't just make a sale. Create the next visit.

Most customers who leave with a receipt never hear from you again. A Loonine card stays on their phone, counts every visit and puts your next offer on their lock screen, so the next visit has a reason to happen.

How it works

Three steps. No hardware.

From signing up to stamping your first customer, nothing here needs a terminal, a till integration, or a card printer.

  1. 01

    Design your card

Pick a reward, set the goal, choose your colours and drop in your logo. It looks like your business, not like ours.

  2. 02

Add a customer by phone number

Type the number into the Loonine app. The welcome text goes out in about three seconds, with a one-tap link to add the card.

  3. 03

    They collect, you keep them

Every visit adds a stamp. The pass updates on their lock screen in real time. The reward unlocks itself.

  1. Staff types the numberOn the till-side app. The customer does nothing.
  2. ~3sSMS arrivesOne tap, no account, no password.
  3. Card is in the walletApple Wallet or Google Wallet, natively.
  4. It updates itselfEvery stamp pushes to the lock screen.
End to end, enrolment is under ten seconds and costs the customer nothing but saying their number out loud.

Features

The whole business runs from your phone

No terminal, no tablet, no till integration. These are real screens from the Loonine app.

One number. One tap.

Why typing a number beats scanning a QR code

Every other wallet loyalty platform asks the customer to do the work: pull out a phone, open a camera, scan a code, tap through a page. That is four chances to say "not today" while a queue builds behind them. Loonine moves the work to the person who is already holding a device and already being paid to be there: your staff.

Wallet preview

Design your card

The same options as the Loonine app, previewed as Apple Wallet and Google Wallet will show the card.

Card type

Google Wallet always shows the business name and card title.

Text colour applies to Apple Wallet. Google Wallet sets its own text colour.

Logo shape

Square, 660 × 660 px or larger. PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 2 MB. Google Wallet masks the logo to a circle.

3:1, 1125 × 369 px (at least 750 × 246). PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5 MB.

Each wallet uses its own system font.

Nothing is uploaded. Each image is checked and rebuilt from its pixels in your browser, which strips hidden data such as metadata, file paths and anything appended to the file.

Everything here is a preview. You create the real card in the Loonine app after you download it.

Visit likelihood rises as the card fills

The curve steepens near the goal. That acceleration is the effect a loyalty programme is buying.02550751000246810Stamps collected (goal: 10)
Modelled from stamp-card mechanics: the pull is weakest at the start and strongest in the last two stamps, which is why the goal you set matters more than the reward you pick.

The card updates itself

A stamp added at the counter reaches the customer's lock screen without them opening anything.

No customer action, and no app open. The wallet does the work.

Every kind of shop

One card. Endless returns.

Cafés, salons, bakeries, florists, gyms: the same card brings customers back to every shop on the street, in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, with nothing for them to install.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is Loonine?

Loonine is a digital loyalty card platform for local businesses such as cafés, bakeries, salons and restaurants. You create a branded loyalty card in minutes, and your customers keep it in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. There are no paper cards, and nothing for your customers to install.

Do my customers need to download an app?

No. The loyalty card lives in the wallet that is already on their phone: Apple Wallet on iPhone, Google Wallet on Android. They receive a text message with a link, add the card with one tap, and that is the whole process.

How does a customer join my loyalty programme?

You ask for their phone number and type it into the Loonine app. They receive a text message in about three seconds containing a link that adds the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The customer never has to take out their phone while they are at your counter.

Which phones does this work on?

Every modern smartphone. iPhones use Apple Wallet and Android phones use Google Wallet, both of which are installed by default. In practice your loyalty programme covers essentially your entire customer base.

What types of loyalty card can I create?

Two mechanics: stamps (buy ten coffees, get one free) and points (one euro spent equals one point). You set the goal and the reward, and you can change the goal later without reissuing cards.

How do I give a stamp or add points?

Every wallet card carries a unique QR code that you scan with the Loonine app to add a stamp or points in about a second. If a camera will not focus or a screen is cracked, you can also look the customer up by phone number and stamp them manually.

How much does Loonine cost?

Loonine has four plans. Free is a design sandbox with no customer enrolment. Premium is €24.99 a month for up to 200 customers, Business is €44.99 a month for up to 500 customers with one marketing broadcast a week, and Enterprise is €84.99 a month for up to 1,200 customers with three broadcasts a week. Every paid plan starts with one month free, and there are no setup fees or hardware to buy.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, a full month on any paid plan, with no commitment. You can cancel at any point during the trial and you will not be charged.

No paper. No customer app. No hassle.

Your coffee took longer.

Signing a customer up takes seconds: you type their number, the text arrives in about three seconds, and one tap puts the card in their wallet.
